AstrumU ReadySet

Over the summer of 2022, I worked as a Design intern for AstrumU, a startup company in Kirkland, Washington that is trying to smoothen the transition from student to employee by guiding users through their professional and educational journey.

One of the projects they are currently working on is called ReadySet, and it is being designed to help people find MBAs that will best suit their career goals. It does this by taking into account users' work history as well as details about the MBA program and then displays a score/percent chance to the user regarding how likely the program is to help them achieve their goal.

My job during that summer was to help the team improve and iterate the product, as the current design and system had received some criticisms. This was a research-heavy internship, as it involved a literature review, user interviewing, and both unmoderated and moderated user testing. Once the research phase was finished, I worked with the design team to ideate new iterations and ideas based on observations we made, as well as help craft some high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.

More details about the process can be found in the video above.
